Department : Pharmacy
Company Name :
Area of Research
Neurodegeneration
Area of Expertise
Bioenergetics
Brief Description of Research Interest :

Primarily interested inmitochondrial function and dysfunction in the context of neuronal damage andneurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer'sdisease and epilepsy. I am also interested in understanding the bioenergetic changespreceding neuronal cell death and augmenting cellular metabolism to preventneuronal demise derived from environmental toxicants, pharmaceutical agents, and oxidative stress.
