Brief Description of Research Interest :
The goal of my research is to shed light onto signaling pathways that contribute to tumor progression. Most cancer related deaths are due to metastatic disease, which is the result of complex interactions between the tumor cells and the host microenvironment.  Hypoxia, inflammatory conditions and epigenetic changes are known to promote tumor metastasis. My research interest will be dissecting the signaling pathways contributing tumor metastasis.
