Brief Description of Research Interest :
My research interests lie in understanding the mechanisms of invasion in invasive plants, as well as their impacts and interactions once established in a new range.  My current research focuses on understanding the effects of resident pathogens on Microstegium vimineum (Japanese stiltgrass), a particularly noxious invader in the eastern United States.
