Brief Description of Research Interest :
|
For thepast few years, I have been conducting research on renewable energy source suchas biomass. Besides this I have also worked in combustion of biomass materialin a fluidized bed system. Major focus is to design and develop thermo-chemicalprocess for biomass and waste. I am currently developing large-scale microwavebiomass processing system for agricultural residues in collaboration withprovincial and national agencies. My focus from these technologies is toproduce value added products such as biochar, biofuels, renewable chemicals,speciality chemicals and other bioproducts.
I alsohave a variety of other ongoing research interests such as drying, feedstockengineering, densification, catalysis, energy, exergy, and emission analysisand thermo-chemical process.
