Brief Description of Research Interest :
|
My current project aims at understanding the role of an actin binding protein in Parkinson disease (PD). Also, my goal is to elucidate possible interactions between proteins implicated in PD and to understand the molecular basis of the disease.
My previous research focused on microtubules (Microtubule Associated Proteins, MAPs) and mitotic spindle. I used to work with budding yeast S.cerevisiae to characterize the defects in spindle positioning and mitotic exit. Before, I worked with mammalian cell cultures and neurons to describe MAPs mutants.
