Medicinal Chemistry
Brief Description of Research Interest :
My current research focuses on design and synthesis of molecules as potential tools to study biological systems concerned with drugs of abuse, smoking cessation, and depressants. Fundamental chemistry of drugs of abuse; novel transformations and improvement of known procedures. Structure-activity relationships; design of both selective ligands and mixed agonists/antagonists.
