My research is within the area of nanotechnology, with particular interest in fabricating polymer nanocomposite membranes, which could be applied asmaterials for air and water filtration, artificial jaws, tissue engineering,blood purification, wound healing and gas sensing. Fabrication of thesematerials is carried out using electrospinning technique; an intriguing technology that is used to produce long, three-dimensional, ultrafine fibers that posses high surface area to value ratio, high permeability, good mechanical performance and tuneable surface properties.
