The goals of this study were to determine the current skill levels of postdoctoral researchers at Baylor College of Medicine and to identify factors that contribute to their publication success. The potential factors included: the effectiveness of the Career Development Series, communication with principal investigators, departmental seminars, and postdoctoral association activities (notably career seminars and career symposium).
