Brief Description of Research Interest :
I am broadly interested in the function and heterogeneity of the innate arm of the immune system. More specifically, I am interested in how myeloid cells initiate, accelerate, or ameliorate peripheral conditions, including atherosclerosis, and central conditions, including traumatic brain injury and depression. I received my PhD from The Ohio State University in Neuroimmunology and currently study Cardiac Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
