Brief Description of Research Interest :
I'm a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School and the Cancer Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.  I obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry from Brown University, and hold a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Rochester.

My phd thesis in the field of gene regulation focused on chromatin, epigenetics, transcription regulation, non-coding RNAs, dosage compensation, and transcription factors such as zinc fingers. I am currently researching links between miRNAs and cardiometabolic diseases and cancer, as well as developing antisense technologies for anti-virus therapies. Besides research, I have devoted extensive time to science education/teaching and communication.
